I wasn't at the Wolves game, Jarrod said he's going to write it up sometime (don't hold your breath). But there have been lots of repercussions from the game. Bobby Zamora's broken leg is obviously key for Fulham over the next five months and could well change how the team plays in his absence. Hodgson would have thrown Elm into the mix, but it seems that Hughes would rather Eddie Johnson and (when fit again) Andy Johnson and Dio Kamara. Not to mention Dembele as well.
Watching the highlights of the game (which you can see here) it seems that Wolves did nothing to rid themselves of the 'dirty' tag that the media placed on them after they did a number on Joey Barton, but I think it should be more 'Cynical Wolves'. They were full of the snide this tug backs and 'black arts' that Scotland faced in Lithuania (and Juventus tried at the Cottage in March but were pulled up by a stronger referee).
It will be interesting to see how Hughes approaches the tricky League Cup tie away at Stoke City now. Stoke played a strong side against Shrewsbury in the last round, but a weakened team last year when they eventually lost 4-0 at Portsmouth. Whether Tony Pulis has had a change of heart about the competition will play a big part in whether Fulham will progress to the fourth round.

Mmmmmmm perhaps if there had been a stronger ref he would have sent off Fulhams last man defender for the cynical last man pull down of the Wolves forward player.... just a thought.
I think you will find that Doyle was offside before Paintsil tripped him.
The tackle on Bobby wasn't even a foul!
The only "Disgrace to the Premier League" during that game was the ground & facilities.
Do the Fulham fans sitting in the asbestos stand suffer from asbestocis? Surely a H&S concern?
Amazing how your captain has come out in defense of Karl Henry and said that he would speak to Zamora to confirm it was a clean tackle and also your own Manager rightly acknowledges that there is no increase in the physicality and accepts that not all teams can play like Arsenal, themselves included. I for one would not like tackles removed from the game and most pros love the game when hard tackles are involved.. bring back football from 10 years ago when footballers were men and not wimps which most are today.
We were very clumsy but we have been labelled with this dirty tag and I'm honestly not being biased here when I say it is immensely unjustified.
Zamora's injury was just a freakishly horrific accident, Henry's tackle was clean. After the Newcastle game he was mouthing off in the paper so he's given himself a bit of a daft reputation.
I understand your anger towards us but us being a 'dirty' side really isn't the case. Good luck this season,
A confused Wolves fan
I feel for Bobby Zamora but the tackle on him was a clean one, the trouble was Bobby went over on his ankle - just like Valencia did on Tuesday against Rangers.
Blogs with titles 'Dirty Wolves' only keeps the media bandwagon rolling on...what rubbish!
It's headed up 'Dirty Wolves' because that's all people seem to have been talking about.
If you actually read the blog, you would see that I thought they should be renamed 'Cynical Wolves'. Any complaints about that?

Yes! Why jump on the bandwagon then? You chose to use that headline rather than something more appropriate - i.e. "Are Wolves a Dirty team?" but no.
I actually am an admirer of Fulham, always have from way back when fair play and sportsmanship were the norm rather than the exception it is these days. I don't know what age you are but I would guess your not shaving yet.
Typical southern softies, if you are not up to a real man's game I suggest you take up knitting, assuming of course that does not prove too stressful for you.
Look forward to stuffing you at Molineux.
I'm 33 and from Manchester, so your suggestions are as accurate as a tackle from one of your defenders.
And I meant have you any complaints about being labelled cynical, not what I named the blog entry.
For grounded Black Country stock, you're all a bit sensitive.
If the ref had clamped down on their vile behaviour against Barton v the Toon, this may not have happened.
Gutted for Zamora, but this was enevitable, sadly.
The media(motd et al) laughed as Barton was kicked all over the pitch, just a couple of weeks earlier. Then the solemn tones last week when wolves 'tactics' managed to crock a player.
Imagine if instead of Barton/Zamora it was rooney, lampard, gerrard etc.?
Blame biased refs & pundits lads.
dirty wolves my a**e,karl henry has'nt got it in his locker to be a nasty player,i think the chants of disgrace to th premier league were bourne out of frustration of fulhams performance on the pitch.the only disgrace was the wolves fan that got glassed outside a pub before the game by some cowardly fulham fan.
Zamora did not 'go over on his ankle' he was scissor tackled and pulled down at the same time. This is dangerous foul play. For you Wolves in denial, have a look at the photos:

Oh, and 'he didn't intend to hurt Zamora' or 'Henry got the ball' are irrelevant claims. According to the FIFA laws of the game a dangerous tackle is a dangerous tacke regardless of whether there was intent or the ball was won. These are facts not blinkered opinions.
P.S. Hughes and Murphy have made their statements to put it behind them not because that's what they believe - don't be so naive. They've got more important things to get on with (unlike us on here!), they have to get the team focused on the next game.
